Display 256 Color high reflective Thin Film Transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display. TFT technology is displayed technology found
in higher-end portable computers because of the crisp, sharp image it displays. The brilliant color enhances readability
and improves the overall usefulness of the Palm-size PC. Reflective technology allows the user to clearly read the
display in any environment – even in bright sunlight conditions that wash out other Palm-size PC displays and make
them unreadable. The display supports 320 x 240 resolution, three times that of the 3Com PalmPilot.
Power Supply
900mah Li-Ion battery provides up to 10 hours of use. Compaq is a market leader in bringing Li-Ion batteries to Palm-
size PCs, a technology usually found in higher-end portable computers. When the Compaq Aero 2100 is placed in
docking station to synchronize, the Li-Ion rechargeable batteries are automatically charged. Connecting to the AC
Adapter also recharges the batteries.
Audio Capabilities The Palm-size PC that also functions as a portable audio information and entertainment device. The robust audio
capabilities enable users to record, transfer, and playback informative and entertaining audio content. Audible Splash™
software allows the Compaq Aero 2100 to play Audible audio files downloaded onto PC from www.audible.com and
transferred to Palm-size PC upon synchronization. The instant record button allows convenient and quick voice notations
at the press of a button. Listening to content is accomplished through an integrated speaker on the back of the unit, or
headphones may be placed into the jack (adapter required) for private listening.
