•Data backup: Due to the lack of consistent backup
processes, employees tend to keep important files
on their PCs rather than the server. These files are
easily forgotten and never get a backup, posing a
risk to the business.
•Printing: The shared printers connected to individual
PCs slow down the printing process when the PC
is in use. Repeated printer reboots are needed to
clear print queues, disrupting work and affecting
productivity.
•PC support: Client desktops and laptops need
frequent upgrades. These machines are a mix of
ages, brands, and operating systems.
•Network: Poor physical network implementation with
multiple low-end hubs/switches cascaded around
and cables running under desks.
•Guest wireless: Lack of a secure method to provide
visiting customers/partners Internet access without
