1.1 What is WEBES?
Web-Based Enterprise Service (WEBES) is a suite of system diagnostic tools. WEBES
consists of a master installation kit that allows you to install any or all of the following
components:
• Compaq Analyze—for remote system event monitoring
• Compaq Crash Analysis Tool (CCAT)—for remote operating system failure analysis
• Revision and Configuration Management (RCM)—for system configuration and change
reporting
1.2 New in this Release
This release includes the following new functionality for WEBES:
• Tru64 UNIX and OpenVMS node-by-node cluster support
• Additional rules support for GS80/GS160/GS320 systems
• Improved performance
• Improved stability
1.3 Supported Products
Following are the products supported by the Compaq Analyze component of WEBES. The list
also is available in the Compaq Analyze Release Notes. In the event of any discrepancy
between this list and the Compaq Analyze Release Notes,theCompaq Analyze Release Notes
take precedence.
