5. Remove the two slotted Torx ST8M2.5×7.0 screws from the top cover.

6. Lift the rear edge of the top cover (1) until it disengages from the base enclosure, and then tilt the

top cover (2) back until the TouchPad cable is accessible.

7. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the TouchPad cable is connected, and then disconnect the

TouchPad cable from the system board (2).

8. Remove the top cover.
